Resin printing guidelines

Exact exposure and curing values should not be copied from another resin brand. They depend on resin chemistry, printer light engine, wavelength, layer height and desired performance.

Standard workflow structure

  1. Prepare — mix resin as instructed, check temperature and inspect the vat/build platform.
  2. Select a validated profile — match resin, printer model, wavelength and layer height.
  3. Orient and support — account for drainage, peel forces, critical surfaces and dimensional accuracy.
  4. Print — record batch, profile and environmental conditions for traceability.
  5. Drain and wash — use the approved solvent/method and time.
  6. Dry — remove residual solvent before post-cure.
  7. Post-cure — use the validated wavelength, time and temperature.
  8. Inspect — check completeness, surface, dimensions and part-specific acceptance criteria.

Dental materials

Dental resin workflows may have mandatory validated printer/wash/cure combinations. The IFU must take precedence over generic website guidance.
